Hans-Rudolf Weiss, MD is the grandson of Katharina Schroth, who has developed the "Three dimensional Scoliosis treatment according to Schroth" and son of Christa Lehnert-Schroth.

From 1995 to 2008 he was medical director of the Asklepios Katharina Schroth Rehabilitation Centre.

In Summer 2009 he opened his own practice for orthopedics and rehabilitation and now offers his new concept of short-term intensive scoliosis rehabilitation, that has been developed and investigated in 2006. This concept is provided in the new rehabilitation center: .

The patients so far have accepted this new program of rehabilitation in a distinguished manner and have evaluated it well.

Dr. Weiss always aimed at improving brace efficiency and by that making braces easier to wear for his patients. So he developed quite a number of modern braces for the correction of spinal deformities and applied for a number of patents as well.

Also braces for the treatment of chronic low back pain have been developed, evaluated and published by Dr. Weiss.
